Remy and Bryn's birthday party
December 8, 2021Only about nine months late, but here we are! It was the sweetest day celebrating Remy's third birthday and Bryn's first birthday, and I don't want to skip over all the details of it. We chose to have a super small joint party for the girls this year, as their birthdays are less than three weeks apart, and the pandemic was still a consideration.
Remy was so into dinosaurs at that time (she still loves them, but was completely obsessed around the time of her birthday), so I chose a Dino theme for her and got most of our decorations from Meri Meri. For Bryn, we chose a bug theme as we call her Brynnie Bug, and I used the Rifle Paper Co bug print as my inspiration. I made their little cakes myself, and my super talented friend Nicole made their cookies and shipped them to me all the way from her home in Connecticut.
We just kept it super easy for food and ordered pizza and had a huge variety of fresh fruit. We wanted to enjoy our company after a long year of isolation, and chose to focus on them instead of being in the kitchen all morning.
Remy still talks about her birthday party, and she's already looking forward to turning 4! Bryn had the most fun day as well, and surprisingly really dove into her smash cake. Here's a peak into our little lunch party.
