I asked Remy some interview style questions this week because I thought it would be fun to document here for future reading reference, and of course Bryn had some answers of her own.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Remy: a mermaid!

Bryn: me too!

What was your favorite part of summer?

Remy: the water table

Bryn: Chuck E. Cheese!

Remy: oh yes, Chuck E. Cheese!

What are you most excited for this school year?

Remy: riding the bicycles

Bryn: me too!

What's your favorite song?

Remy: “Put on your sunscreen! Do the wave!”

Bryn: cocomelon songs

What's your favorite dinner?

Remy and Bryn: pizza!

First day of preschool, here we come!

Everything Remy takes to school needs to be labeled, so I found these waterproof labels over the summer. I’ve already run some of her items through the dishwasher and the labels made it through perfectly. We chose the dinosaur option 🦖 

We’re only doing a half-day preschool so Remy doesn’t eat lunch there, but she does eat a snack! This little snack container is the perfect size. We also send her with her favorite dinosaur water bottle.

I saw her backpack last fall and thought it was the cutest thing, but she wasn’t going to school so I held off buying. I ended up getting it on sale later in the season, but here’s a link to this year’s styles. It’s made from recycled water bottles!

Her little pennant flag is a download from Etsy, and I added the ribbons and made the pom pom.

Our favorite little sneaker hack is to buy black or dark grey sneaks and they stay looking a little cleaner and match most anything. Another sale find when I purchased them— we had the same pair in a size down last year, and Remy says they’re super comfy.

I was influenced to buy this hair spray to help keep lice away 😬 I can think of few worse things to bring home from school.
